The 21-year-old had felt \u2018a bit stressed about choosing\u2019 where she might study at university. According to the NL Times, she was widely expected to study at the University of Groningen.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Image may contain Person Accessories Bag Handbag Clothing Footwear and Shoe\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"ResponsiveImageContainer-dkeESL cQPiWi responsive-image__image\"   src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/netherlands\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Alexia_230924_Instagram%20@koninklijkhuis.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Princess Alexia of the Netherlands started her studies at University College London in 2024<\/p>\n<p>Instagram @koninklijkhuis<\/p>\n<p>Princess Alexia has already graduated from one of the world\u2019s most prestigious colleges, where she rubbed shoulders with her fellow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/topic\/royals\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">royals<\/a> as she revised for upcoming exams. UWC Atlantic, the boarding school dubbed \u2018hippy Hogwarts\u2019, has an illustrious alumni network \u2013 including Alexia\u2019s father, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. With its roll call of royalty, the school sounds very grand. But <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tatler.com\/article\/uwc-atlantic\" class=\"text link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">UWC Atlantic<\/a> is, deliberately, far from that. The 360 pupils studying in Wales come from 90 different countries and are specifically chosen for their diversity, as well as their \u2018mindset, attitude and genuine passion to serve society\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>UWC pupils fall into two categories: culturally, politically, socially and economically diverse scholars from more than 155 countries worldwide who are selected by 3,000 volunteers globally; and fee-paying students.
