Lawson is now a seasoned veteran F1 driver who impressed during his one-race cameo with Red Bull.

Lindblad, on the other hand, is a promising rookie who was labeled as the next highly touted Red Bull junior.

This year, Lawson has been better than Lindblad, but only slightly, with both showing their driving chops.

<img data-od-added-loading="" data-od-removed-fetchpriority="high" data-od-replaced- data-od-xpath="/HTML/DIV/*[2][self::DIV]/*[1][self::DIV]/*[1][self::DIV]/*[1][self::DIV]/*[4][self::DIV]/*[5][self::FIGURE]/*[1][self::PICTURE]/*[2][self::IMG]" loading="lazy" data-dominant-color="b5a5a8" data-has-transparency="false" style="--dominant-color: #b5a5a8;" data-wp-picture-wrapped="" decoding="async" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.europesays.com/netherlands/wp-content/uploads/2026/08/SI202608210358-1024x683.jpg" alt="ZANDVOORT, NETHERLANDS - AUGUST 21: Liam Lawson of New Zealand and Oracle Red Bull Racing looks on in the garage during practice ahead of the F1 Grand Prix of Netherlands at Circuit Zandvoort on August 21, 2026 in Zandvoort, Netherlands.
