{"id":43735,"date":"2026-09-07T14:45:07","date_gmt":"2026-09-07T14:45:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/netherlands\/43735\/"},"modified":"2026-09-07T14:45:07","modified_gmt":"2026-09-07T14:45:07","slug":"stadler-delivers-first-accessible-tina-tram-to-the-hague","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/netherlands\/43735\/","title":{"rendered":"Stadler Delivers First Accessible TINA Tram to The Hague"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stadler and Dutch transport operator HTM have unveiled the first TINA tram for the Netherlands, marking a new phase of accessible tram travel in The Hague.<\/p>\n<p>The TINA fleet will support HTM\u2019s ambition to provide a high-quality, future-ready public transport network while expanding accessible mobility across the growing region.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-30335357\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/netherlands\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Stadler-new-bus-service-800x550.webp\" alt=\"Stadler new bus service\" width=\"800\" height=\"550\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Officials and residents of The Hague \u2014 including passengers using wheelchairs, walkers, and a guide dog \u2014 pose in front of TINA, HTM\u2019s new accessible tram, at its launch event<\/p>\n<p>\u00a9 Stadler<\/p>\n<p>Stadler\u2019s contract with HTM covers the delivery of 62 low-floor trams, making the operator the largest customer for the TINA platform worldwide. This is Stadler\u2019s first-ever contract in the Dutch market and represents a huge milestone in The Hague.<\/p>\n<p>The TINA \u2014 short for Totally Integrated Low Floor \u2014 trams are approximately 36.5 metres long and can carry up to 237 passengers.<\/p>\n<p>With the mechanical components of the vehicle located below the flooring within, a spacious interior allows for a flexible multifunctional area.<\/p>\n<p>These areas are designed to accommodate disabled passengers travelling in wheelchairs or with children in pushchairs.<\/p>\n<p>Passengers benefit from large panoramic windows as well as high ceilings, while a modern driver assistance system with a digital cockpit and collision protection supports safe, efficient operations.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Ansgar Brockmeyer, Deputy Group CEO of the Stadler Group, said:<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__quote-text\">Today is a proud moment for everyone involved in this project.
