Oasis have released another teaser video<\/a> further fuelling speculation that the band are set to announce a 2027 live tour. It comes just days after Liam and Noel Gallagher attended the 83rd Venice Film Festival to walk the red carpet at the world premiere of the new documentary<\/a> all about Oasis’ 2025 comeback tour.<\/p>\n

The film, created by Peaky Blinders’ Steven Knight tells the story of the band’s epic Live ’25 tour which spanned 41 shows across 14 countries and 5 continents. It gives an insight into the reunion, the rehearsals, and the fan reaction <\/a>to the band’s comeback after 16 years, as well as Liam and Noel Gallagher’s first joint interview in more than two decades.<\/p>\n

While there’s great buzz around the film, which will have its UK premiere at Leicester Square this evening (September 7), the latest social media teaser from Oasis indicates that a tour announcement is imminent. The M.EN. understands from music industry sources that the official announcement is set to land this weekend following the full cinematic release of Don’t Look Back in Anger across the world on Friday September 11.<\/p>\n

The new video tease today has confirmed the next tour location as Amsterdam. Rather than leaving fans guessing, the post literally says AMSTERDAM.<\/p>\n

It had been thought that Dublin’s Slane Castle, could be the next teaser, but the latest post a person running between shipping containers while seagulls hover above. They then stop to give two fingers before another, also addressed in adidas, drags them away before police coming running after them. The sound of birds and a ferry horn can also be heard in the background.<\/p>\n

Oasis fans will get the reference of the video as it alludes to back in February in 1994 Oasis members, except for Noel, were arrested and deported following a drunken brawl on an overnight ferry to Amsterdam.<\/p>\n

The band was heading to the Netherlands for their first-ever international tour date at Amsterdam’s Paradiso Club when the incident happened. It was reported that Liam Gallagher and other band members joined in a violent punch-up with football fans (reportedly supporting West Ham) on the ship.<\/p>\n

The teaser videos first began on Thursday last week, with pointers towards the tour starting at Glasgow’s Celtic Park next summer. The second teaser nods to the widely-rumoured residency at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium – home to the Gallaghers’ beloved Manchester City – as well as suggesting the big Knebworth return.<\/p>\n

A third teaser on Saturday afternoon was slightly more cryptic, although fans believe it points to upcoming gigs in Munich and possibly Amsterdam. On Sunday, at the same 4pm timing, a fourth teaser was dropped showing a guitarist is seen in a darkened bar, playing what appears to be the opening strains of Don’t Look Back in Anger.<\/p>\n

In the background is a poster for the famed Catalan surrealist artist and sculptor Joan Miro. The Catalan ceramicist was born in Barcelona, giving Oasis fans a clear not that the city will be the Spanish location for the band. Spain had not been widely discussed in speculation about upcoming tour. A date on the poster in the corner of the video cites “26 August” which has sent fans into overdrive that the upcoming tour will head to Spain then.<\/p>\n

An apparent tour schedule has also been widely shared by Oasis fans on social media, said to be a “leaked list of tour dates” for the Oasis 2027 tour. It shows five gigs listed to start in May at Glasgow’s Celtic Park, before heading for the huge Manchester homecoming at the Etihad Stadium with 12 gigs across June.<\/p>\n

Two gigs are then listed for Stade de France in Paris in July, two in Munich at the Allianz Arena, two for the San Siro in Milan, and then two at the Stadio Olimpica in Rome to round out July. A run of five huge gigs at Dublin’s Slane Castle were suggested for the first two weeks August, but no other gigs had been mentioned that month.<\/p>\n

A big return to Knebworth is set to complete what would be a record-breaking run of six gigs in September 2027. Although, as yet, nothing has been officially confirmed by Oasis’ spokespeople.<\/p>\n

All teasers have been followed up by the message to sign up to the official Oasis.net website to get updates.
