You don’t need to fly to the Netherlands for tulips because Yorkshire<\/a> has its own spectacular displays this spring.<\/p>\n From a million-bulb field in Pontefract<\/a> to Chelsea award-winning Bloms Bulbs, Yorkshire is putting on a show this spring that rivals anything Amsterdam has to offer.<\/p>\n As temperatures rise and the season reaches its peak, a string of tulip festivals and pick-your-own farms across the county are drawing visitors eager to swap the airport queue for a day out on their doorstep.<\/p>\n Here are some of the best places to see tulips across Yorkshire this spring.<\/p>\n Farmer Copley’s Tulip Festival, Pontefract, West Yorkshire<\/p>\n Over one million tulip bulbs across more than 100 varieties are on display at Farmer Copley’s, along with a real working windmill, pick-your-own areas, Dutch-style food and a bar. The festival won Rural and Farm Event of the Year 2025.<\/p>\n When: From Saturday, April 4 (approximately four weeks)<\/p>\n Price: Midweek \u00a38 + booking fee. Weekends: \u00a311 + booking fee. Under-3s free.<\/p>\n More information here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Burnby Hall Gardens Tulip Festival, Pocklington, East Yorkshire<\/p>\n Over 18,000 tulips in 130 varieties are formally displayed in tubs and flower beds across the historic gardens, planned by Head Gardener Jill Ward.<\/p>\n When: Saturday, April 18 to Saturday, May 9. Check the farm’s social media for exact opening dates.<\/p>\n Price: From \u00a37 – under-2s free.
