Newly released footage has emerged showing Steven Lyons being escorted through an airport in handcuffs following his deportation from Bali.<\/p>\n

The 45 year old was captured on camera being accompanied by Interpol officers from the Jakarta National Central Bureau. The notorious crime<\/a> boss was apprehended on the sun-drenched island on March 28 by Indonesian immigration authorities.<\/p>\n

Spanish authorities had issued an Interpol red notice for the gangster, who is now facing extradition to Spain to answer \u00a326m money laundering charges.<\/p>\n

His return to Europe was held up while officers worked on a separate ongoing investigation, but the underworld figure has now been flown to Amsterdam ahead of his transfer to Spain to face the serious charges.<\/p>\n

Indonesian police have released footage of the gangland figure being marched through the airport, showing Lyons being escorted through Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, reports the Daily Record<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Interpol agents can be seen leading the handcuffed criminal off a plane, carrying a yellow bag with a travel pillow around his neck. He is filmed being taken along escalators and engaging in conversation with officers.<\/p>\n

The clip then shows Lyons being handed over to Dutch police in Amsterdam. Flo Rida’s 2007 hit Low can be heard playing over the video, which was uploaded to social media by Indonesian officers as a pointed dig at the gangster.<\/p>\n

A statement from Indonesia’s Divhubinter Polri confirmed: “Steven Lyons, the subject of Interpol Red Notice on money laundering, who was arrested in Bali on March 28, 2026, was successfully deported on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The deportation process is carried out with a tight escort (escort) by personnel Set NCB Interpol Indonesia Divhubinter Police.<\/p>\n

Lyons is currently being detained by military police at a secure facility in Amsterdam following his deportation from Bali on Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

This development follows reports that Lyons’ wife Amanda was detained at Dubai Airport after being identified as a wanted individual by Interpol.<\/p>\n

The 38 year old was apprehended in the Middle East last month as part of the continuing international investigation aimed at dismantling the Lyons clan’s drug trafficking operations amid the ongoing turf war in Scotland. Dubai Police have since confirmed she was arrested after their systems flagged her on an Interpol Red Notice \u2014 a formal request to law enforcement agencies across the globe to locate and provisionally detain an individual pending extradition, serving as a high-level alert for wanted fugitives.<\/p>\n
