Tottenham Hotspur have now found out exactly what they have to do to land Feyenoord\u2019s prolific 25-goal striker this summer.<\/p>\n

Spurs Web believes that Tottenham Hotspur could improve five areas of their squad<\/a> in the summer transfer window, including the forward position.<\/p>\n

Thus far this season, Spurs\u2019 leading goalscorer is Richarlison<\/a>, who has managed 10 goals in the Premier League, which is far from ideal for a club supposed to be competing among the best in the division.<\/p>\n

Even more worryingly, aside from Richarlison<\/a>, no other Spurs player has managed double figures for league goals this campaign \u2013 but the club now appear to be looking to address exactly that issue.<\/p>\n

According to Football Insider<\/a>, Ayase Ueda of Feyenoord is a striker now on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur.<\/p>\n

The Japanese international has managed 25 goals from 30 league appearances in the Eredivisie this season and is on course to win the Golden Boot in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

Spurs are no strangers to having elite goalscorers leading the line after enjoying several years of Harry Kane<\/a> spearheading the attack \u2013 a player who won Golden Boots himself and one they have yet to properly replace.<\/p>\n

However, Tottenham will not have a free run at the centre-forward, with interest also arriving from Premier League sides including Leeds United and Everton.<\/p>\n

Football Insider also revealed that, although the Dutch side is extremely reluctant to lose their free-scoring forward, they would be willing to consider a sale if a \u201cbig offer\u201d arrives ahead of next season.<\/p>\n

Ueda is said to be a key target for Leeds United, who are reported to be very keen on adding him to their frontline this summer.<\/p>\n

Spurs could turn to Troy Parrott as an alternative<\/p>\n

Spurs Web has since reported that Tottenham have carried out plenty of checks on Ueda<\/a> ahead of the summer window, and they are fully aware of the competition they face.<\/p>\n

We also relayed the comments of Feyenoord boss Robin van Persie, who wants to see Spurs fail in their attempts to sign the 27-year-old<\/a>.<\/p>\n

However, should Tottenham miss out on Ueda, they could also turn their attention towards another player from the Eredivisie who has impressed this season.<\/p>\n

Troy Parrott, while not matching the Japan international\u2019s tally, has still managed 10 fewer league goals than Ueda this season.<\/p>\n

Spurs Web also recently revealed that Parrott would be keen on a return to north London this summer<\/a>, regardless of the division the Lilywhites are in as they continue their fight against relegation.<\/p>\n
