PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Police are investigating after a man who appeared to have been shot dead was found near a Plaid Pantry in northeast Portland on Friday night, according to police.
Just before midnight, officers with the Portland Police Bureau were sent to the convenience store Near Northeast 60th Avenue and Northeast Columbia Boulevard after someone reported finding an unconscious person.
Police said they found a man dead from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
Authorities have not released any other details at this time, but asked anyone with information, and who has not yet spoken to police, to contact them at homicidetips@police.portlandoregon.gov and reference case number PP26-88468.
