UPDATES: Flash flood warnings issued for several counties in NKY, SE Indiana

Wednesday is another Weather Alert Day, with flash flooding the big concern.

Latest warnings
Flash flood warnings are in effect for multiple counties including Gallatin, Owen in Kentucky and Dearborn, Franklin and Ohio in Indiana.
A flood watch is in effect for the region through Wednesday evening.
Rounds of slow-moving, intense downpours, especially in the morning, could lead to areas of standing water.
Rainfall rates of up to two inches per hour were recorded in Indiana early Wednesday. Many areas could pick up 2-5 inches of rain.

We will have intense, ongoing rain for the morning rush (focused in Indiana and parts of Kentucky) before a break. It looks like rain will be letting up by the end of the morning rush, before additional scattered storms in the afternoon.
The general storm track Wednesday should favor areas to the west and southwest for the highest totals.

After Wednesday, we’re not out of it yet. Scattered storms are still expected Thursday (morning and evening) and again Friday morning.
