Alert Day: Tracking overnight flooding concerns in Greater Cincinnati

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING is in effect for Grant, Owen and Pendleton counties until 10:15 p.m. Thursday. A Flood Watch remains in effect through Friday morning.
Officials in some southeast Indiana communities and western Hamilton County are ordering mandatory evacuations for residents near the Whitewater River on Thursday night.
Remain on high alert for flooding, especially in southeastern Indiana. Some spots picked up around 6-7 inches.
The Whitewater River in southeastern Indiana hit a historic crest Thursday at 23 feet in Alpine, with additional flooding possible overnight.

Rain chances go up with more frequent rounds late Thursday night into Friday morning. As these move repeatedly over the same areas these storms bring a renewed threat for flooding. Some spots could see another 2-4+ inches of rain.
