PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Police are investigating after a man who appeared to have been shot dead was found near a Plaid Pantry in northeast Portland on Friday night, according to police.<\/p>\n

Just before midnight, officers with the Portland Police Bureau were sent to the convenience store Near Northeast 60th Avenue and Northeast Columbia Boulevard after someone reported finding an unconscious person.<\/p>\n

Police said they found a man dead from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. <\/p>\n

Authorities have not released any other details at this time, but asked anyone with information, and who has not yet spoken to police, to contact them at homicidetips@police.portlandoregon.gov<\/a> and reference case number PP26-88468.<\/p>\n
