Iran\u2019s President Massoud Pezeshkian on Saturday apologized to neighboring countries for launching attacks on their soil where U.S. military bases are located. A few hours later, the Iranian judiciary chief said strikes would continue in Gulf countries that are \u201cat the disposal of the enemy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait have all reported attacks.<\/p>\n
In Iran, oil depots were hit by intense U.S.-Israeli aerial bombardment, the BBC reported<\/a>. The IDF said it struck several fuel storage complexes in Tehran<\/a> belonging to Iran\u2019s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).<\/p>\n Israel\u2019s military also said it targeted commanders of Iran\u2019s elite Quds Force<\/a> of the Revolutionary Guards with strikes in Lebanon, including on the capital Beirut. The IDF said 27 waves of strikes<\/a> were carried out in Beirut. <\/p>\n \u201cThe commanders of the Quds Force\u2019s Lebanon Corps operated to advance terror attacks against the state of Israel and its \u200bcivilians, while operating simultaneously for the IRGC in Iran,\u201d the IDF said in a statement on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n The IDF warned residents in southern Lebanon<\/a> to evacuate northward, saying in a separate post on X that Israeli strikes were targeting the Hezbollah militant group in the area.<\/p>\n Trump took to Truth Social<\/a> to claim credit for Pezeshkian\u2019s apology, adding that \u201cIran will be hit very hard!\u201d Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi fired back<\/a> later Saturday.<\/p>\n
