At just 14 years old, Blue Ivy Carter has made her Met Gala debut.<\/p>\n
Hitting the Met Gala red carpet 2026<\/a> alongside famous parents Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z, the teen made a statement all her own.<\/p>\n For the high-fashion event, Blue wore a cream bubble-hem strapless gown by Balenciaga that boasted a structured bustier top.<\/p>\n She added sculptural gold glittery heels that matched her mom\u2019s embellished skeleton-inspired dress<\/a>. David Fisher\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n She added a cropped bomber jacket to match that she wore just off her shoulders as well as cateye sunglasses.<\/p>\n Blue is one of the youngest people to ever attend the event \u2014 and recent rules state that attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend.<\/p>\n In 2018, Maddie Ziegler told The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> that she \u201ccan\u2019t go because I\u2019m not old enough\u201d at the time. And clearly an exception was made for Carter, whose mom was a co-chair of the event alongside Nicole Kidman, Lauren S\u00e1nchez Bezos and \u2014 of course \u2014 Anna Wintour.<\/p>\n Carter wasn\u2019t the only one for whom an exception was made, however, as Kidman\u2019s daughter Sunday Rose Urban (at 17 years old) also stood by her mom\u2019s side<\/a>.<\/p>\n When speaking with Vogue on the red carpet, Beyonc\u00e9 shared, \u201cShe looks so beautiful.
