Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni each earned no money in their lawsuit settlement<\/a>, Page Six can confirm.<\/p>\n

Lively brought in a new law firm, Susman Godfrey, to defend her shortly before the \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d co-stars settled their lengthy legal war<\/a> on Monday, according to TMZ.<\/p>\n

Both Lively and Baldoni\u2019s legal teams made $60 million combined<\/a> to sue and countersue one another, sources told Page Six Hollywood.<\/p>\n

Page Six has reached out to Lively and Baldoni\u2019s reps for comment.<\/p>\n

Lively\u2019s lawsuit against Baldoni was settled two weeks before the case was scheduled to go to trial on May 18.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe end product \u2014 the movie \u2018It Ends With\u00a0Us\u2019 \u2014 is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life,\u201d both sides said in a joint statement to Page Six. \u201cRaising awareness, and\u00a0making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors \u2014 and all survivors \u2014 is a goal that we stand behind.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both parties added that they \u201cremain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments\u201d and it is their \u201csincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.\u201d<\/p>\n

A source told us that Lively and Baldoni were negotiating for a few weeks <\/a>and \u201cwere encouraged to reach an agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey finally came to an agreement today. It was a last-minute deal,\u201d the insider shared with us just moments after the settlement was reached.<\/p>\n

The source added that the judge didn\u2019t want there to be a trial because the case was \u201clong\u201d and \u201cdrawn-out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lively attended the Met Gala 2026<\/a> hours after the lawsuit was settled.<\/p>\n

Lively sued Baldoni (both pictured above filming \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d) for allegedly sexually harassing her on the set of the 2024 film. GC Images<\/p>\n

Baldoni (seen above on the set of the film with Lively) countersued the actress, alleging defamation, extortion and more, but his lawsuit was dismissed in June 2025. GC Images<\/p>\n

The \u201cGossip Girl\u201d actress\u00a0filed a sexual harassment lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0against Baldoni, who also directed \u201cIt Ends With Us,\u201d in December 2024.<\/p>\n

Baldoni denied Lively\u2019s claims and,\u00a0the next month,\u00a0filed a $400 million countersuit<\/a>\u00a0against the actress, her husband Ryan Reynolds and their publicist, Leslie Sloane, alleging defamation, extortion and more.<\/p>\n

However, Baldoni\u2019s suit was\u00a0dismissed in June 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Last month, Judge Lewis Liman\u00a0threw out 10 of Lively\u2019s 13 claims against Baldoni<\/a>, including sexual harassment, defamation and conspiracy.<\/p>\n

He ruled that only three of her claims could proceed: breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting in retaliation. <\/p>\n

After the judge\u2019s ruling, Lively said in a social media statement <\/a>that filing the lawsuit was \u201cthe last thing I wanted in my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I brought this case because of the pervasive RETALIATION I faced, and continued to, for privately and professionally asking for a safe working environment for myself and others,\u201d the \u201cA Simple Favor\u201d star added.<\/p>\n

Lively also promised that she \u201cwill never stop doing\u201d her part in the fight to \u201cexpose the systems and people who seek to harm, shame, silence and retaliate against victims.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni each earned no money in their lawsuit settlement, Page Six can confirm.
