The two-time NFL MVP tore the ACL and LCL in his left knee on Dec. 14 in the final minutes of a loss to the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"84caf62b-c753-71ea-a787-44fd224a4294\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/lac\/los-angeles-chargers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Los Angeles Chargers<\/a>. He has stated his goal is to be ready for Kansas City&#8217;s 2026 season opener.<\/p>\n<p>Broncos quarterback <a data-player-guid=\"f9de7512-a950-3317-816b-abe094068409\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/player\/_\/id\/4426338\/bo-nix\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bo Nix<\/a> is expected to be ready for training camp after breaking a bone in his right ankle on Jan. 18 during the AFC playoffs. Nix did not play in Denver&#8217;s season-ending loss to the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"0078f353-fe3e-67ed-a42c-43cca0568e21\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/ne\/new-england-patriots\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New England Patriots<\/a> in the AFC Championship Game.<\/p>\n<p>A trio of games announced Monday came as NBC, Fox and Prime Video made their upfront presentations to advertisers. More matchups will be revealed in the coming days.<\/p>\n<p>The <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"b0fc8fb7-9dbe-e574-9008-6f0ee7c6b234\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/dal\/dallas-cowboys\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dallas Cowboys<\/a> were part of two of the unveilings Monday &#8212; both against NFC East rivals. The Cowboys will visit the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"378600ea-2397-8364-8399-b7c1606a49a7\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/nyg\/new-york-giants\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">New York Giants<\/a> in the first NBC &#8220;Sunday Night Football&#8221; game of the season on Sept. 13, and they will host the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"d1a9b001-1df7-fbd7-ae4c-6ca7065286ec\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/phi\/philadelphia-eagles\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Philadelphia Eagles<\/a> on Thanksgiving (Nov. 26) on Fox.<\/p>\n<p>The <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"232afaf2-01ac-fcc2-8bd6-66550df1703a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/buf\/buffalo-bills\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Buffalo Bills<\/a>&#8216; first regular-season game in their new stadium will be against the <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"56caffee-178d-f6f2-a076-b277486b8c32\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/det\/detroit-lions\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Detroit Lions<\/a> on Sept. 17 and will kick off Amazon Prime Video&#8217;s &#8220;Thursday Night Football&#8221; schedule.<\/p>\n<p>The Denver-Kansas City and Dallas-New York Week 1 matchups also mean none of those teams will be the visitor at Seattle on Wednesday, Sept. 9, when the defending champion <a data-clubhouse-guid=\"3767a23c-a17d-294f-288a-9086ad1f0680\" href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/team\/_\/name\/sea\/seattle-seahawks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Seahawks<\/a> unveil their Super Bowl banner and kick off the season.
