(WBTV) &#8211; Polls for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wbtv.com\/politics\/elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wbtv.com\/politics\/elections\/\">2026 primary election<\/a> in North Carolina were closed, in most counties, as of 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Election Day polls opened at 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3 in counties across North Carolina.
