{"id":59670,"date":"2026-08-01T16:21:27","date_gmt":"2026-08-01T16:21:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/news\/59670\/"},"modified":"2026-08-01T16:21:27","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T16:21:27","slug":"chino-hills-kidnapping-execution-suspects-victim-identified","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/news\/59670\/","title":{"rendered":"Chino Hills kidnapping execution suspects, victim identified"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The San Bernardino County Sheriff\u2019s Department on Friday identified the victim and suspects in <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2026-07-30\/chino-hills-kidnapping-shooting\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a fatal Chino Hills kidnapping shooting,<\/a> while also releasing new details in the case.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was identified as Shukur Aikebaer, 60, of Chino Hills, and the two suspects as Jianquan Bo, 66, and Zhengfeng Bo, 67, who was shot and killed by deputies.<\/p>\n<p>The Sheriff\u2019s Department said the suspects are brothers and shared a home in Irvine, where investigators executed a search warrant.<\/p>\n<p>The deceased suspect and the victim knew each other through a previous working relationship, according to the Sheriff\u2019s Department. <\/p>\n<p>Business records show Aikebaer listed as a partner and Zhengfeng Bo as the president of Panshi LLC, a business founded in 2018 and registered to an office building in Irvine. <\/p>\n<p>A motive for the shooting has not been revealed, but authorities released more details about what took place during Aikebaer\u2019s final moments. <\/p>\n<p>Authorities said in a written statement that Aikebaer was inside the home Wednesday night during a power outage, prompting him to go outside. At that moment, Zhengfeng and Jinaquan Bo allegedly shot him once and kidnapped him by shoving him into the trunk of a car.<\/p>\n<p>Aikebaer\u2019s daughter <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/losangeles\/video\/family-grieves-father-kidnapped-and-killed-in-chino-hills\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">told CBS LA<\/a> she has no clue why the men would target her dad, saying that her family is just as desperate for answers as the rest of the community. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing makes sense, it feels like a movie,\u201d she said, fighting through tears. \u201cI just wish this was a bad dream and I would wake up and he would be here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gloria Orejel, a San Bernardino County sheriff\u2019s spokesperson, told The Times that responding deputies spotted a Nissan with Oregon license plates speeding away from the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The deputies tried to stop the vehicle, but Orejel said they were unaware at the time that a kidnapping was underway.<\/p>\n<p>The driver, she said, led deputies on a mile-long pursuit that ended in the 2400 block of Wandering Ridge Drive, where the deputies ordered the driver and a passenger out of the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe passenger did comply,\u201d Orejel said. \u201cHowever, the driver exited the vehicle, approached the trunk of the suspect vehicle and fired a shot into a victim that was inside the trunk.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Deputies then shot the driver and initiated lifesaving measures on the driver and the victim. However, both were pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said Jianquan Bo was not injured and was taken into custody. He was booked on suspicion of murder and kidnapping.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said they\u2019re looking into the circumstances surrounding the power outage.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2026\/07\/31\/us\/kidnapping-shooting-chino-hills.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">In an interview with the New York Times<\/a>, family friend Adam Nijiati said that Aikebaer was part of a small Uyghur community where he resided with his wife and three daughters. Aikebaer immigrated to Southern California from China nearly 20 years ago, according to Nijiati, and has participated in several business ventures including flipping houses and opening a fast-food restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe is very modest, like the kindest guy you could ever meet in your lifetime,\u201d Nijiati told the New York Times, adding: \u201cHe\u2019s not that rich, to be honest. I don\u2019t know why would somebody just try to kidnap him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gofundme.com\/f\/support-the-family-affected-by-the-chino-hills-shooting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">GoFundMe<\/a> has been set up to help cover funeral and life expenses for the Aikebaer family, which has now lost its sole provider.
