The City of Missouri City stated that the crash involved an Amtrak train and an 18-wheeler.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Officials said that Missouri City fire personnel responded to the scene and extinguished a fire from the crash. According to the city, a HAZMAT team also responded to the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">According to officials, emergency crews responded to evaluate the train&#8217;s passengers. There are no serious injuries, according to officials who spoke with ABC13.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">City officials said a METRO bus has been staged to assist and transport the passengers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">ABC13 spoke with passengers after the crash, who said that the train was traveling from Los Angeles to Houston.<\/p>\n<p class=\"EkqkG IGXmU nlgHS yuUao lqtkC TjIXL aGjvy \">Authorities advised people to avoid the area and to expect traffic delays as crews worked on the scene.
