Gov. Gavin Newsom and first partner Jennifer Siebel Newsom\u2019s gated estate on Tobia Way in Fair Oaks hit the market for $7.5 million, according to a listing with Sotheby\u2019s International Real Estate<\/a>. <\/p>\n The 12,663-square-foot residence is \u201cprivately positioned along the bluffs on 8.2 acres, where sweeping views and exceptional privacy create a truly rare setting,\u201d according to the listing. (See photos from the listing below.)<\/p>\n The property near the American River includes a \u201cresort-style\u201d pool with a cold plunge and a hot tub that helps create a \u201cpersonal wellness oasis just steps from the primary suite.\u201d <\/p>\n There is also a full-sized tennis court, private casita and a 5,000-bottle wine cellar. The garage can hold four cars. <\/p>\n The estate includes seven bedrooms, nine full bathrooms and three partial bathrooms. <\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a beautiful property,” Sotheby’s International Real Estate listing agent Matthew Hindy told KCRA 3 in a statement. “It\u2019s been well maintained and holds a special charm.\u201d <\/p>\n The other Sotheby’s listing agent is Nick Sadek. <\/p>\n KCRA 3 previously reported <\/a>the Newsoms purchased the property for $3.7 million in December 2018. <\/p>\n In 2024<\/a>, Newsom\u2019s press secretary announced that the family would split its time between their Sacramento-area home and in Marin County.<\/p>\n The San Francisco Chronicle later reported<\/a> the family had moved into a home in Kentfield that had sold for $9.1 million.<\/p>\n \u201cWith the governor\u2019s term ending in January 2027, the family began a gradual transition in 2024, purchasing a home in Marin County to provide continuity for their children\u2019s education,” Newsom spokesperson Izzy Gardon told KCRA 3 in a statement on Monday. “The sale of their Sacramento home is the next step in that transition.”<\/p>\n Newsom is the third-straight governor to split his time between Sacramento and elsewhere in the state. <\/p>\n Gov. Jerry Brown commuted from Oakland for part of his time in office. Gov.
