Eerder op de avond ging aan de Thorbeckelaan in de stad al een auto volledig in vlammen op.<\/p>\n<p>Bij aankomst van de brandweer in de Gentiaanstraat bleek een auto aan de voorkant volledig in de hens te staan. De brandweer heeft het vuur geblust en schade aan andere auto&#8217;s weten te beperken.<\/p>\n<p>De politie heeft de locatie aan de Gentiaanstraat aangemerkt als plaats delict en doet onderzoek naar de oorzaak van de brand. Daarbij wordt ook gekeken of er een verband is tussen beide autobranden.<\/p>\n<p>Voor zover bekend zijn er bij beide branden geen gewonden gevallen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Afgelopen nacht was er opnieuw een autobrand in Assen, ditmaal aan de Gentiaanstraat.
