Buitenlandminister Marco Rubio is ook van plan de groepen vanaf 20 november aan te merken als \u201ebuitenlandse terroristische organisatie\u201d. Hij noemt het onderdeel van \u201eTrumps historische belofte om Antifa’s campagne van politiek geweld te bestrijden\u201d.<\/p>\n

Naast het Duitse Antifa Ost worden ook groepen in Griekenland en Itali\u00eb genoemd, en Rubio waarschuwt dat Washington zich ook op andere groepen over de hele wereld gaat richten.<\/p>\n

De Amerikaanse president Donald Trump heeft de antifascistische Antifa-beweging eerder al bestempeld als \u201eterroristische organisatie\u201d. Antifa is een gedecentraliseerde linkse beweging zonder duidelijke structuur, hi\u00ebrarchie of leider.<\/p>\n
