Vestfoldbanen, Oslo S | Full stans på Oslo S

Oslo S ble helt stengt klokken 05 lørdag morgen. Stasjonen åpner ikke igjen før søndag morgen klokken 04.

– Arbeidet som skal utføres, berører hele Oslo S, og det er årsaken til at vi må stenge stasjonen helt for togtrafikk, forklarer regiondirektør Lars Berge i Bane Nor i en pressemelding.

En rekke togavganger vil bli helt eller delvis innstilt. Bane Nor oppfordrer alle reisende om å sjekke med sitt togselskap før de skal reise til hovedstaden.

Skal du reise fra Tønsberg til Oslo S eller videre nordover betyr det at du kan ta tog frem til Skøyen, hvor du må bytte til buss.

Skal bli færre forsinkelser

Arbeidet på Oslo S er en del av et større prosjekt som på sikt skal bidra til å redusere konsekvensene av blant annet jordfeil og andre kritiske feil. Etter helgens arbeid skal det bli mulig for Bane Nor å finne jordfeil raskere, og de kan isolere den slik at det påvirker færre spor.

– Dette betyr færre forsinkelser for de reisende, og det er det overordnede målet, sier Berge.

Han legger samtidig til at full effekt først vil oppnås når alt av planlagte og nødvendige tiltak er gjennomført i 2027.
