Romerikingen vant onsdagens slalåmrenn foran landsmannen Atle Lie McGrath. Etterpå gikk turen til utestedet Tenne, der det er vanlig at vinnerne dukker opp og spruter champagne.
Det var helt greit for kona.
– Hun sa: «Du kan komme hjem i morgen tidlig», fortalte Kristoffersen til Krone.
I intervjuet med den østerrikske avisen blir også statsborgerskapet hans et tema.
Nevnte Mitter var tidligere norsk landslagstrener i alpint, men er nå alpindirektør i det østerrikske skiforbundet.
– Jeg har bodd i Østerrike i ti år nå; min første adresse var hos foreldrene til Christian Mitter i Ramsau. Selvfølgelig vil jeg gjerne ha (det østerrikske) passet. La oss se hva fremtiden bringer, sa Kristoffersen.
