Tirsdag meldte Vegtrafikksentralen om en trafikkulykke i Glaskartunnelen i retning Bergen.
– En buss og tre personbiler er involvert, sier trafikkoperatør Leif Helge Fjellro.
Det er ikke meldt om personskader, ifølge politiets operasjonsleder, Bjarte Rebnord.
Flere av de involverte får tilsyn av ambulansepersonell på stedet, opplyser han.
– Ulykken har mest sannsynlig skjedd i forbindelse med et feltskifte, sier Rebnord.
Politiet, ambulanse og brannvesenet rykket ut.
– Lange køer
Trafikkulykken medførte lange køer, da tunnelløpet i retning sentrum ble stengt.
På et tidspunkt sto køen forbi Gullgruven Senter. Køen var da altså rundt 2,5 kilometer lang. Anbefalt omkjøringsvei var Hardangervegen, gjennom Arna.
Klokken 0940 opplyser brannvesenet at alle kjøretøyene er fjernet og at veibanen er ryddet. Litt senere ble tunnelen meldt åpen igjen.
Bussen skal kun ha mindre materielle skader, og anses å være kjørbar, mens to av bilene trengte berging, opplyste politiet.
– Trafikken flyter nå helt som normalt, og det er ingen tegn til kø, melder trafikkoperatør Leif Helge Fjellro klokken 1000.
