En av førerne som var involvert i ulykken kan bli utvist fra landet.
Søndag ettermiddag melder politiet at de oppretter straffesak etter ulykken, og at de vil følge opp saken videre i forbindelse med en utvisningssak.
Tidligere søndag meldte politiet i Nordland at nødetatene rykket ut til Gimsøystraumbrua etter melding om trafikkulykke. Tre kjøretøy var involvert og det var ikke meldt om personskader.
Noe senere ankom ambulansepersonell stedet og det ble slått fast at åtte personer var involvert. På det tidspunktet var alle ute av bilene og samtlige var ved bevissthet.
To personer ble sendt til legevakt.
– Framstår som at en bil har kjørt inn i bil foran, som deretter har kommet over i motgående, og truffet en tredje bil. Alle de involverte er utenlandske statsborgere i leiebil, melder operasjonsleder Remi Johansen.
Nå opprettes det altså straffesak etter hendelsen.
