Ressurser rykket ut fra Bodø, Tromsø, Harstad og Svolvær, men i løpet av kort tid kunne TV 2 melde at situasjonen var avklart.
Én person skal være lettere skadd, og de øvrige personene er gjort rede for, skriver TV 2.
Kort tid senere bekrefter Coe ved politiets operasjonssentral følgende:
– En person bekreftet lettere skadet etter å ha blitt tatt av ras. Fraktes til sykehus med SAR Queen. De andre i turfølget er gjort rede for og tar seg ned fra stedet for egen maskin.
Samtlige i turfølget på 13 stykker ble tatt av skredet, og to av disse skal ha vært fast i skredet i 15 minutter.
Halvannen time etter første melding fra politiet, melder operasjonsleder Coe at turfølget ikke gikk ned selv slik det først ble meldt, men at de ble fløyet ned fra fjellet.
