Torsdag opplyste vakthavende meteorolog Håkon Mjelstad ved Meteorologisk institutt overfor HA at nedbøren ser ut til å gi seg når kvelden kommer.
– Akkurat nå er jeg ikke veldig bekymret for akkurat deres område, men jeg blir heller ikke overrasket dersom det skulle bli for eksempel underkjølt regn. Sjansen er imidlertid større for akkurat det lenger sør for Hamar, sa Mjelstad.

Frykter speilblanke veger
Norges Automobilforbund (NAF) frykter at vegene blir speilblanke fredag og at regnet kan fryse til is på bakken.
– Er det underkjølt regn er faktisk det lureste du kan gjøre å la bilen stå. Vegene blir som skøytebaner når regnet fryser på bakken. Da er det vanskelig å beholde kontrollen på bilen, sier Nils Sødal i NAF i en pressemelding.
De oppfordrer samtlige bilister som skal ferdes i trafikken om å tilpasse farten etter forholdene og holde begge hendene på rattet.
– Det er det viktigste du gjør, sier Sødal.
