I 1996 signerte USA sammen med Kina, Frankrike, Russland og mange andre land den omfattende atomteststoppavtalen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_paragraph_o9xde_4 _paragraph_xtcu6_10 layout-component text-serif-m layout-normal text-serif-m layout-padded\">Avtalen forbyr \u00abenhver atomv\u00e5pentest eller enhver annen atomeksplosjon\u00bb, i, if\u00f8lge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.armscontrol.org\/factsheets\/comprehensive-test-ban-treaty-glance\" class=\"_link_o9xde_39\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arms Control Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_paragraph_o9xde_4 _paragraph_xtcu6_10 layout-component text-serif-m layout-normal text-serif-m layout-padded\">Siden 1996 er Nord-Korea det eneste landet som har gjennomf\u00f8rt eksplosive atomv\u00e5pentester.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_paragraph_o9xde_4 _paragraph_xtcu6_10 layout-component text-serif-m layout-normal text-serif-m layout-padded\">USA har ikke godkjent atomteststoppavtalen, men har likevel frivillig latt v\u00e6re \u00e5 teste atomv\u00e5pen. Avtalen kan ikke tre i kraft f\u00f8r den er ratifisert av 44 spesifikke nasjoner.
