A Fox News legend who is a longtime friend of President Donald Trump has issued a dire warning about the president’s legacy.
Bill O’Reilly on “No Spin News” said “it’s over” for Trump if the Democrats triumph in the upcoming midterm elections and win control of both chambers of Congress, per Mediaite.
“It’s over,” O’Reilly said. “Because they’ll impeach him, they’ll sue him … every two minutes, there’ll be something else and nothing will ever get passed. Nothing.”
O’Reilly continued: “So, it’s going to be two years of, ‘Let’s get Trump.’ That’s what’ll happen, and that’s what the media wants and that’s what the Democratic Party wants. The Democratic Party is not going to do anything but attack Trump. So, that’s not even a hard analysis. We know that will happen.”
O’Reilly said that the situation would be better if the Republicans were to hold on to at least one house of Congress.
The GOP currently has majorities in both the Senate and the House.

“So, this thing is very personal for Donald Trump because he’s got to know that the Republicans have got to take at least one house,” O’Reilly said. “It has to, or his whole legacy blows up, goes down…”
The former Fox News host added: “So right now, Iran unresolved, consumer prices high — not crazy high, but high, making people not happy — and those are the things that the Republican Party and President Trump have to improve.”
O’Reilly earlier raised eyebrows when he suggested that his longtime friend Trump take the month of August off to recharge.
