Barron Trump, the 20-year-old son of President Donald Trump, has emerged as one of the youngest members of the first family to hold a nine-figure fortune, with an estimated net worth of roughly $150 million that places him ahead of his mother, First Lady Melania Trump.
The valuation, first reported in an October 2025 Forbes analysis, stems almost entirely from the Trump family’s cryptocurrency venture, World Liberty Financial. The project has added more than $1.5 billion to the family’s overall wealth, according to the analysis, with Barron holding an assumed 10% stake valued at approximately $150 million.
A separate Bloomberg report in May found that World Liberty Financial contributed $1.55 billion to the Trump family’s net worth, making it the single largest driver of the family’s fortune. By comparison, Forbes valued Melania Trump’s wealth at around $20 million in the same analysis, a figure that underscores just how concentrated the family’s crypto holdings have become in the hands of its youngest member.
Barron is listed as a co-founder and “DeFi visionary” of World Liberty Financial, a title that positions him as a central figure in the project’s branding and strategic direction. His older brothers, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, are listed as “Web3 ambassadors” for the venture.
The Forbes calculation included after-tax proceeds from token sales, an interest in the project’s USD1 stablecoin, and a discounted value assigned to locked WLFI tokens that were not freely tradable. That means the $150 million figure represents an estimated value of his holdings rather than cash sitting in a bank account.
The crypto venture’s financial impact on the broader Trump family has been substantial. President Trump’s cryptocurrency interests netted him more than $1 billion in 2025, his first year back in the White House, according to financial disclosures released in June. The windfall included over $520 million from the sale of tokens issued by World Liberty Financial and more than $635 million in royalties collected from the Official Trump (CRYPTO: TRUMP) memecoin.
The family’s approach to these ventures has been to license the Trump name rather than invest their own capital. They promoted the projects through social media and public appearances, collecting revenue as retail and institutional investors piled into the tokens.
Barron has also pursued a separate business interest outside the crypto space. He is listed as a director of SOLLOS, a Palm Beach-based yerba mate beverage company launched with a group of friends from South Florida. The company’s first product, Pineapple + Coconut, contains 120 milligrams of natural caffeine from organic Brazilian yerba mate, with a 12-pack selling for $39, or $3.25 per can.
SOLLOS has leaned into its Florida roots, describing itself as a brand “built around the Florida lifestyle,” and has raised about $1 million in private funding, according to an SEC filing. However, there is no public valuation or revenue figure for the company, meaning the beverage venture does not meaningfully contribute to the reported $150 million net worth estimate.
The concentration of wealth in World Liberty Financial highlights the growing financial footprint of the Trump family’s crypto activities. With the president’s own crypto earnings exceeding $1 billion in a single year, the family has effectively transformed its political brand into a financial asset that generates revenue through token sales, royalties, and stablecoin operations.
For Barron, the $150 million valuation marks a notable financial milestone at age 20, even as questions remain about the liquidity of the underlying assets. Locked tokens and stablecoin interests carry valuation assumptions that may not translate directly into spendable wealth, but the on-paper figure nonetheless places him in a financial tier above his mother and establishes him as a significant beneficiary of the family’s crypto strategy.
