But I I I think for the phone itself, you know, what’s what’s going to get it to sell is is two things. One, improved battery life. Everybody likes better battery life. And then two, uh is the the new camera. There’s a a new uh mechanical aperture on these cameras uh that you’ll end up being able to control light, control shutter speed, things along those lines, uh control depth. So people will be able to do a lot more with these cameras than they previously would.

Granted, most people will probably just use the auto mode, but still, it’ll give you a better overall shot. And then if you’re a pro or you want to futs around with being a pro a little bit, you have that option as well. One thing to look out for is whether or not people are holding off on buying this for the iPhone Duo. That’s the the foldable because that’s also going to be a high-end phone and, you know, look, the price of these phones went up $100 versus the prior generation, the the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. Uh the if if money’s not an issue, then that’s not going to be a problem for you and if money’s not an issue, then why wouldn’t you just go for the $2,000 foldable.

The the 18 Pro and Pro Max though, Dan, who are those phones for? Like in your opinion, who who should who should consider an upgrade?

I think for most people, if you’ve been going with your phone for about four years, that’s, you know, four to five years, if your battery is pretty much, you know, shot, uh, you’re you’re running low on space, uh you’ve noticed it kind of, you know, starting to have trouble keeping up with the the latest software updates, then that’s probably where, you know, a lot of people who are looking for a a phone with a lot more to offer will probably look to upgrade. You know, if you’re like say my my parents, they just want a phone with a big screen uh and doesn’t necessarily have to have the greatest camera, then I would say they could probably get away with, you know, upgrading later uh next year, uh early next year rather, uh when we’re expected to see the Air 2 or maybe the the uh base 18 or 18E even.
