Meta 11% Fire Pillar Tosses Message To KOSPI

In the early hours of September 22, 2026, three fire columns rose on Wall Street in the United States. The pillar is ARM, Intel and Meta Platforms (Meta). ARM, a “semiconductor design drawing company,” rose the most among the top 50 U.S. market capitalization. Intel and Meta also rose more than 10%, leading the U.S. tech index Nasdaq to an all-time high.

All three pillars of fire are artificial intelligence (AI) and semiconductors. Meta shares soared 11.4% in one day. It was the biggest gain since April 2025. Meta ranks ninth in the U.S. market cap. That’s how much influence the index has. It’s the secret to the all-time high on Nasdaq. On this day, nine of the top 10 market cap (top 10) stocks rose. Only SpaceX fell.

Some say that consumers’ crowding of muses in the app store should be seen as a sign that “AI has finally entered daily life.”

Meta is once again drawing attention as an AI leader thanks to Chief AI Officer (CAIO) Alexander Wang in addition to Zuckerberg. Zuckerberg’s relationship with King Alexander dates back to 2019.
