Donald Trump and his donors
President Trump will also speak at a White House event focused on scientific discovery on Thursday, according to a social media post by his technology adviser, Michael Kratsios.

‘Well deserved’
As soon as the news broke, social media reactions poured in. While some users poked fun at Trump for presenting the award and being chosen to speak at a science-focused event, others praised Elon Musk, saying he deserved the recognition and credit for his contributions to technology and innovation.
“It’s a well-deserved honor. For those questioning his credentials, besides his successful @Tesla and @SpaceX achievements, Elon Musk has a B.A. in Physics and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School (both degrees from the University Of Pennsylvania)”, reads a comment.
“Trump replaces science with stupidity”, another comment reads.
