President Donald Trump is holding a midterm election rally just days after making an appearance in South Carolina, but this time in Rock Hill.
According to WCNC, the Republican National Committee said Trump will give remarks on Thursday around 12:30 p.m. at a location that has yet to be announced. The president was in Pendleton on October 21 for a South Carolina rally.
The goal of these rallies are to support Senator Darline Graham and other Republican candidates. Graham was appointed to fill the seat in July after her brother Lindsey Graham passed away.
Most recently, the president’s office announced that Octapharma is investing $1.5 billion to construct a critical care manufacturing facility in Rock Hill.
“President Donald J. Trump returns to South Carolina today to highlight a proven record of results that put workers, families, seniors, and communities first,” the White House said in a news release. “Under President Trump and Republican leadership, South Carolinians are seeing historic tax relief, surging private investment and job creation, stronger rural healthcare, and major investments in infrastructure, military readiness, and public safety.”
WCNC said the last time Trump campaigned in Rock Hill was in February 2024 ahead of South Carolina’s Republican presidential primary. The rally took place at Winthrop Coliseum.
