Donald Trump has been dealt a humiliating blow after his favorite network turned on him.

Fox News embarrassed the 79-year-old on April 22 after Stuart Varney revealed Trump’s latest approval ratings live on-air.

During his Fox Business show, Varney & Co, while the chyron, “Virginia passes redistricting referendum sat at the bottom of the screen, the British-American broadcaster told viewers, “There’s a new poll, it’s from the Associated Press, and it shows President Trump’s approval on the economy at just 30%. Overall, his approval isn’t that much better. He’s at 33%. Can Trump turn things around before the midterms, which are six months away?”

Varney’s guest, Mollie Hemingway, Editor-in-Chief of The Federalist, replied, “Well, Stu, this is what I keep talking about. There needs to be a focus on domestic issues in this administration. Trump has always had lower numbers than you’d think, meaning he can get elected president with fairly low numbers.”

However, Hemingway was forced to note that these figures are a “new low” for Donald Trump, as she claimed that the poor approval ratings could be due to POTUS’s “attention being diverted to things other than the types of things that he ran on,” such as “the economy and fixing problems in the United States.”

And Hemingway had a stern warning for Trump, as she urged, “He and the Republicans need to give Republican voters some reason to vote for them in the midterms, and those aren’t that long away, so they should’ve been doing a lot more before now. They definitely can’t wait much longer.”

Varney then concluded by noting that it seems as though Hemingway was calling Trump’s current situation a “disaster” for not only him, but for the Senate and the House.

Following the Fox Business broadcast, eager viewers flooded social media with their thoughts on Varney and Hemingway’s discussion.

Taking to X, one Fox Business viewer pointed out, “Even @FoxNews acknowledges that nearly 70% disapprove of Trump’s handling of things.”

With a similar sentiment, a second person then declared, “Fox News has admitted that 70% of American citizens do not support Donald Trump’s economic management. Even Fox, which is pro-Trump, has been forced to acknowledge that Trump is destroying America’s prosperity.” Meanwhile, a third viewer added, “Even Fox News has turned against President Crazypants now.”

“He has always trashed everything he’s been given. Never worked a day in his life,” said a fourth of Donald Trump, while a fifth Fox viewer concluded, “Duh! You were all delusional from the beginning! He’s a grifter and a cheat and a complete loser! He’s ruined this country!”
