We just had Altman uh give his testimony today. Uh he was uh under uh questioning from OpenAI’s attorneys and then cross examination from uh Elon Musk’s attorneys and

you know, I mean, it was uh basically exactly what the story that you’ve heard is with some, you know, a few details here and there. Uh, you know, basically, uh Altman said that he was extremely uncomfortable with the idea that Musk wanted to become CEO of OpenAI saying that at one point, Musk wanted 90% of the equity in the company, uh things along those lines.

Uh and then on the flip side, when it came time for the cross- examination with Musk attorney, uh the questions were really about, I mean, some of them were just pretty flat out, are you a liar?

You know, just kind of like, have you lied before? How does it feel uh having people say that you’ve lied to them or been deceitful under oath? And that’s related to the questions with regards to the Open AI board and his ousting in 2023, uh and then just, you know, being picked up uh a uh a week, uh a few days later.

Um and so, you know, it’s this continuous back and forth of, you know, okay, so there are all these accusations that you’ve you’ve lied, uh and then, okay, does that mean that you’ve lied then about uh what Elon Musk claims saying that you were going to keep OpenAI a nonprofit instead of a for-profit.

And, you know, obviously with the Microsoft deal and uh the uh reconfiguration of the company back in October of 2024, uh we had that that change over. And so, you know, it it really does seem as though uh it it it would be difficult. I mean, I’m not on the jury, I’m also not a judge.

Uh it would be difficult to call for me just sitting in the, you know, the the grandstands. Uh but it was very interesting to see this kind of uh dichotomy of, you know, I I I don’t think I’m a liar, I’m not a liar. Um, you know, I’m a truthful when it becomes to being a businessman and then having people that who worked directly for you saying that they collected all this information to show that you were lying.
