Bettina Anderson’s relationship with Donald Trump Jr.’s ex-wife Vanessa Trump and his children has come into focus through insider accounts, which say she formed a friendship with Vanessa before dating Don Jr. and later bonded with his eldest daughter, Kai Trump.
According to Page Six, Bettina, a Palm Beach socialite, became close with Vanessa before her relationship with Don Jr. began.
An insider said, “Bettina befriended Vanessa before she even got to know Don. Vanessa thinks Bettina and Don are a great match and fully approves of their relationship.”
Relationship with Don Jr.’s children
Among Don Jr.’s five children, Kai appears to have formed the closest bond with Bettina.
“Kai really likes Bettina and gets along with her well,” according to Page Six. “Kai and Bettina have made TikToks in the past and always have a lot of fun together.”
Kai, who recently committed to the University of Miami to continue her golf career, attended Bettina’s bridal shower on April 12 at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla.
The “Enchanted Garden” themed event drew around 100 guests and was hosted in the estate’s ballroom by Palm Beach socialites Yaz Hernandez, Amy Phelan and Audrey Gruss.

Don Jr. and Bettina became engaged in December 2025 after dating for about a year.

The engagement was announced at the White House, where Don Jr. thanked Bettina for saying “yes,” while describing herself as “the luckiest girl in the world.”
Their wedding plans have reportedly been postponed because of the ongoing Iran war, with sources saying the couple felt a lavish White House wedding would be inappropriate during a period of conflict.
Vanessa has also drawn attention for her own high-profile relationship. Page Six reported in March 2025 that she had begun dating golf legend Tiger Woods.
The two are believed to have connected partly because Vanessa’s daughter Kai and Woods’ children, Sam and Charlie, attend The Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Fla.
Tiger confirmed the relationship on Instagram in March 2025, writing, “Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together.”
The couple later shared a public kiss and embraced at the TGL golf finals on March 24 in Palm Beach Gardens.
