President Donald Trump looked noticeably different compared to his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, in a photo.
On May 14, President Donald Trump, 79, was greeted by Chinese President Xi Jinping, 72, during a welcome ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The two world leaders then posed for official photos together. The president’s son, Eric Trump, 42, and his wife, Lara Trump, 43, were also included in the photo opportunity.
When the photo went viral online, viewers took to social media to point out that according to the official White House records, Trump’s height is listed as 6 feet 3 inches. This comes after the Chinese president appeared to realize Trump was struggling on the stairs and needed to catch his breath during their Beijing summit.

Compared to her father-in-law, Lara is 5 feet 11 inches, making her shorter than her husband, who is 6 feet 5 inches. However, Lara is wearing pink heels with her floral outfit and seems an inch taller than the president. Eric, though, appeared taller than everyone else.
One person mockingly noted, “Imagine that. Trump has shrunk in height.”
Another person added, “Trump is allegedly 6’5,” and Lara is taller.”

A third wrote, “Eric Trump is 6’5″ tall. In that photo, you can see he’s noticeably taller than his dad.”
Despite the fixation on the president’s tallness, Trump had a supporter who loved seeing the four posing together and shared, “That’s a wonderful photo, isn’t it?”
Lara has stepped into the spotlight during Trump’s recent visit to China. On the same day, the Fox News host was seen walking alongside the world leaders as the crucial two-day summit got underway in Beijing.

Lara was stunned in a long white structured dress covered in black polka dots, paired with oversized black sunglasses. She joined the two leaders at Beijing’s historic Temple of Heaven.
In the snapshot, the My View host was spotted with her husband as she walked close to the president.

The summit has focused on trade, technology, Taiwan, and global security. The three-day visit also brought together U.S. officials and business leaders to reset economic ties and discuss key global issues.
On May 13, Trump arrived in China with a delegation that included Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and billionaire Elon Musk. Business leaders, including Tim Cook and Jensen Huang, also joined the trip to push for an economic reset with Beijing.
Lara was later seen stepping off Air Force One alongside Eric as they landed in Beijing to an elaborate welcome, with Chinese schoolchildren chanting “Welcome, Welcome.”
