Lara Trump faced criticism on social media after she posted multiple pictures from the US State Visit to China with her followers.
The daughter-in-law of President Donald Trump shared a collection of pictures and videos of herself and her husband Eric Trump during the trip. Lara, 43, seemed thrilled with the time she spent as part of the US delegation in China, where she accompanied several senior Trump administration officials in welcoming Chinese President Xi Jinping.
In her caption on X, Lara wrote, “Honored to be on such an unforgettable trip!!!!” She included a video showing herself shaking hands with Xi, along with multiple photos in the post. This comes as many have expressed their concerns about Lara’s recent interview with Elon Musk.

While Lara appeared pleased with her participation in the visit, numerous viewers of her social media post expressed frustration, criticizing her for behaving as though she was on “vacation,” and questioning her presence on the trip in the first place.
One commented, “When are you going to pay the American Taxpayers back for your expensive Vacation? Most of us can’t afford to go anywhere Thanks to your Daddy in law doing nothing to lower prices!”
A second stated, “Unforgettable for you, maybe. Utterly forgettable for the rest of us Americans. Complete waste of time and taxpayers money. Your pathetic father-in-law achieved absolutely nothing.”
A third commented, “Keep trolling, you should have never been there, You and eric represent nothing . Disgrace.”
A fourth social media user posted, “Yeah, why WERE you there? You pay for your trip? How much is a ride on Air Force One?”
A fifth added, “Had you been paying attention instead of taking a vacation on the taxpayer’s dime, you would have noticed that Xi and the Chinese Government showed the American Hitler continuous subtle contempt during his entire failed visit. Xi refused to bail him out of his Iran debacle.”

Lara accompanied several senior Trump administration officials on the China trip
Lara was photographed accompanying President Trump on the visit as First Lady Melania Trump chose to remain at home. She wasn’t the sole glamorous blonde traveling to China with the delegation — aide Natalie Harp, 35, who has earned the nickname “human printer” was also present.
The nickname stems from her habit of carrying a portable printer on trips, allowing her to print news articles to hand to Trump. Harp brought her signature style to the visit, being photographed in a sparkling gold gown at the state banquet.

Many on social media questioned her participation in the trip
She’s also recognized for allegedly frustrating White House officials by publishing whatever the president desires on his social media platforms without providing advance notice to other communications aides or national security personnel.
Also accompanying Trump on the trip were ambassador and Chief of Protocol Monica Crowley, 57, aide Margo Martin, 30, and principal deputy press secretary Anna Kelly, 29, a former beauty queen stepping in for White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, 28, who is currently on maternity leave.
