Jeremy Strong<\/a> is no stranger to turning heads.<\/p>\n

Sony just released the first official trailer for The Social Reckoning<\/a>, Aaron Sorkin<\/a>\u2018s long-awaited sequel to the 2010 film The Social Network<\/a>. The film is a continuation of Facebook\u2019s role in society, and follows famous whistleblower Frances Haugen (Mikey Madison<\/a>) exposing 2021\u2019s The Facebook Files<\/a>. The rest of the film\u2019s cast is stacked including: Jeremy Allen White<\/a>, Wunmi Mosaku<\/a>, and Betty Gilpin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reuniting with his Molly\u2019s Game<\/a> director, Strong is taking over the role of infamous Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, from Jesse Eisenberg<\/a>. Eisenberg publicly stated he turned down the opportunity <\/a>to reprise his role because, \u201cWhen you play a character, you feel, at some point, you\u2019ve grown into something else.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the film\u2019s official teaser trailer, the glimpses of Strong as Zuckerberg are uncanny, with many users on social media strongly reacting to the actor\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

One fan wrote on X<\/a> \u201cJEREMY STRONG DOING A FREAKY LITTLE ZUCK VOICE F*CK YESSSS.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the first trailer is dividing fans of the original film, with many people expressing their concerns over the quality and criticizing Sorkin\u2019s direction.<\/p>\n

One X user expressed his concern<\/a> after the trailer was released, \u201cThis is probably going to be a trainwreck but Jeremy Strong\u2019s Zuckerberg voice is scary good holy sh*t.\u201d<\/p>\n

Strong\u2019s performance has long been anticipated. The Succession<\/a> star is infamous for his method preparation, and it seems his approach has paid off, even if fans are skeptical about the rest of the film.<\/p>\n
