Photo courtesy: X\/@Elysee<\/p>\n<p>French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday posted a farewell video for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Hindi, calling him a dear friend and added that \u201cFrance loves you\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Macron said, \u201cPriya mitra Narendra, mujhe bahut khushi hai aap ka Nice, Evian aur Paris, daure ke liye swagat karte, France Bharat ki dosti amar rahe (Dear friend Narendra, I feel very happy to welcome you on your trip to Nice, Evian and Paris and I wish the friendship between France and India remains eternal).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope it was correct,\u201d Macron said after delivering the lines in Hindi.<\/p>\n<p>The French president also thanked PM Modi for his visit and described it as \u201cvery fruitful\u201d, while expressing hope of meeting him again in February.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">\u201cThank you for your visit. Thank you for our friendship. It was a very fruitful visit. France loves you. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon, in February. Jai Hind!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>PM Modi arrived in the Mediterranean city of Nice on June 13, where he inaugurated the \u2018Bharat Innovates\u2019 programme alongside Macron and also held a bilateral meeting with the French president.<\/p>\n<p>He visited Slovakia on June 14-16, the first by an Indian prime minister.<\/p>\n<p>Then Modi was back in France on June 16-17 \u2014 he was in the French commune of Evian-Les-Bains, for the G7 Summit, to which India was invited as a guest country.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">He concluded his trip in Paris on June 18, where he addressed the Indian diaspora and visited the technology forum VivaTech 2026.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr\" dir=\"ltr\">Je suis arriv\u00e9 \u00e0 Paris il y a peu, o\u00f9 j\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 accueilli chaleureusement par la diaspora indienne.
