He appeared to compare the Prime Minister to Neville Chamberlain, most famous for the policy of appeasement towards Nazi Germany before the war. Flanked by a giant Easter bunny, Mr Trump said: “They have a long way to go. The UK has a long way to go …<\/a> We don’t want another Neville Chamberlain, do we agree? We don’t want Neville Chamberlain.”<\/p>\n

The US President unsurprisingly dedicated most of his speech to the Iran war, which he admitted he wants to carry on so he can seize the country’s oil.<\/p>\n

He said: “If it were up to me, I’d take the oil, I’d keep the oil, we’d make plenty of money.” However, he added that he’d end the conflict because it’s what the American people want and he wants to make them “happy”.<\/p>\n

The US President said: “You can’t put nuclear weapons in the hands of lunatics.”<\/p>\n

He added: “The people there now are much more reasonable than the lunatics that you had in phase one and phase two. They were lunatics, the people that we are negotiating with now on behalf of Iran are much more reasonable.”<\/p>\n

The president claimed he asked the UK to deploy its two aircraft carriers to support US operations, and the Prime Minister responded by saying he would need to consult his team.<\/p>\n

Recounting the exchange, he told guests: “I said: \u2018You have two, old broken-down aircraft carriers, do you think you could send them over?\u2019 \u2018Ohhh, I\u2019ll have to ask my team.\u2019<\/p>\n

“I said: \u2018You\u2019re the Prime Minister, you don\u2019t have to.\u2019 \u2018No, no, no, I have to ask my team. My team has to meet, we\u2019re meeting next week.\u2019 But the war already started.
