That threshold has fallen since 2022, but remains nearly 69% above pre-pandemic levels.<\/p>\n<p>Miltiadis Kastanis of Compass told The Post that even homes in the $5 to $10 million range \u201care getting eaten up\u201d this season. The region\u2019s luxury entry prices are nearly five times the local median across metros like Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach, according to Realtor.com\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtor.com\/research\/december-2025-luxury\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:December Luxury Report;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\">December Luxury Report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While Miami seems to be a \u201ctarget destination\u201d amid tax and policy shake-ups in London, New York and Los Angeles, Corcoran broker Cyril Bijaoui told The Post that inventory of homes below $1 million is stagnating.<\/p>\n<p>Overall market demand fell last year in Miami, with the condo market racking up more than a year\u2019s worth of inventory. Despite founders from Amazon and Palantir making a home in the city, they\u2019re not necessity bringing thousands of jobs with them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s all fun and exciting, but there are a lot of people here that can\u2019t afford to be here anymore, and you need those people as well,\u201d Bijaoui said.<\/p>\n<p><img alt=\"Miami\u2019s busy season, which typically spans November to May, may yet see more record-setting deals.
