How did Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields music festival come about?<\/p>\n

The singer launched the music festival on August 29 and it took place in Irvine, California.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The lineup included Doechii, Mitski,\u00a0Stevie Nicks\u00a0<\/a>and more, who all performed free-of-charge so that the ticket sales from the 45,000 attendees went directly to non-profit organizations in need.<\/p>\n

The performer’s inspiration was Sarah McLachlan<\/a>‘s Lilith Fair, which featured an all-women music festival that took place in the 1990s.<\/p>\n

The star even emphasized the importance of the Lilith Fair in the documentary about it called Lilith Fair: Building a Mystery.<\/p>\n
