American Bitcoin Corp<\/a> (Nasdaq: ABTC), the Bitcoin mining and treasury firm backed by the Trump family, completed its first year on the Nasdaq this week, with co-founder Eric Trump<\/a> using the occasion to restate the company’s broader ambition, positioning the United States as the dominant force in the global Bitcoin economy. <\/p>\n

In an X post<\/a> on Sep. 3, Eric Trump said the company now holds 8,300 Bitcoin on its balance sheet and its mining fleet has expanded to nearly 90,000 machines, which Trump credited for a “record quarterly production.” <\/p>\n

Margins in focus <\/p>\n

Trump highlighted that the company’s mining operations are running at close to 50% gross margins, a figure he described as evidence of disciplined execution. <\/p>\n

He called American Bitcoin’s growth trajectory among the fastest build-outs of a public Bitcoin treasury in the market, crediting the team behind<\/a> it for what he termed an incredible year and an especially strong month. <\/p>\n

“Nearly 90,000 miners. Record quarterly production. One of the fastest-built public Bitcoin treasuries in the market mining at nearly 50% gross margins,” he further noted. <\/p>\n

Despite the milestones, Trump was careful to frame them as part of a larger goal rather than an endpoint. <\/p>\n

He reiterated that the company’s mission remains unchanged since its founding: “make America the leader of the Bitcoin economy<\/a>.” <\/p>\n

His statement sharply contrasts with American Bitcoin Corp’s (ABTC) market <\/a>performance. Shares have fallen sharply since the company’s Nasdaq debut in September last year, prompting a 1:15 reverse stock split<\/a> in July to maintain listing compliance. <\/p>\n

Even so, Trump and the company have maintained that the Bitcoin treasury<\/a> strategy is built for the long term, not short-term stock swings. <\/p>\n

The ABTC stock was trading 5% lower at around $9 at the time of writing. <\/p>\n
