WASHINGTON \u2013 Donald Trump\u00a0Jr. and several of his father’s Cabinet members are joining the lineup for next week’s two-day Republican convention-style rally<\/a> at American Airlines Center.<\/p>\n

The speakers announced Friday include Treasury Secretary Scott\u00a0Bessent, Attorney General Todd Blanche, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Medicare and Medicaid chief Mehmet Oz and Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner<\/a>.<\/p>\n

First lady\u00a0Melania Trump does not plan to attend, a White House official confirmed Friday.<\/p>\n

Congressional leaders scheduled to appear include House Speaker Mike Johnson, Senate Majority Whip John\u00a0Barrasso, House Majority Leader Steve Scalise and others.<\/p>\n

Republican National Committee Chair Joe\u00a0Gruters and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson<\/a> also will participate, according to Natalie Arwine, convention deputy executive director.<\/p>\n

The first-of-its-kind, two-day gathering is intended to promote President Donald Trump’s<\/a> record and mobilize Republican voters ahead of the November elections.<\/p>\n

Unlike a presidential-year convention, it will include no official party business. Vice President\u00a0JD Vance will headline the event Wednesday and Trump will give the final address Thursday.<\/p>\n

Organizers also released arrival instructions for general-admission ticket holders. They must park at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, where parking is free and available first come, first served. Gates open at 10 a.m. and credentials will be distributed beginning at 1 p.m.<\/p>\n

Attendees must bring their confirmation email and photo identification. They will receive a physical ticket and lanyard, then must board a free “GOP Express” bus to the arena. Buses begin loading at 2\u00a0p.m. and leave in waves about every 10 minutes.<\/p>\n

At the arena, attendees will pass through Secret Service screening. Organizers recommend bringing no bag; only a small clear bag or clutch measuring no more than 5 by 7 inches is allowed.<\/p>\n
