Eric Trump <\/a>has shown off his new U.S. passport<\/a> \u2013 which features a portrait of his glowering father.<\/p>\n

\u200bDubbed the \u201cpatriot passport,\u201d the document features President Trump\u2019s own signature<\/a>. It is also stamped with \u201c250\u201d to mark the United States<\/a>\u2019 Semiquincentennial, which was celebrated on July 4 this year.<\/p>\n

\u200bIn a video<\/a> posted to X, Eric, Trump\u2019s third child, holds the image of his father up to the camera.<\/p>\n

\u200b\u201cLook what just came in the mail,\u201d Eric gloated. \u201cNew passport. I absolutely love it.\u201d<\/p>\n

In response, New York Governor Kathy Hochul\u2019s press office posted an image<\/a> of Brian Cox\u2019s character, Logan Roy, from the HBO show Succession<\/a>. The screenshot is from a now-infamous scene where the billionaire tells his children: \u201cYou are not serious people.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u200bThe picture of Trump in the document<\/a> is imprinted over the Declaration of Independence, with the passport also featuring an image of the founding fathers gathering to sign the historic document.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe State Department previously confirmed<\/a> that those hoping to be issued with one of the passports will need to apply in person at a passport center or agency.<\/p>\n

\u200bTrump\u2019s portrait being imprinted onto the passports<\/a> marks the first time that any living, current president has been featured on a U.S. passport.<\/p>\n

\u200bJust this month, Trump also became the first president to be printed on American currency<\/a> in over a century. Trump\u2019s face appears on a $1 coin, along with the words \u201cLIBERTY\u201d and \u201cIN GOD WE TRUST.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u200bThe gold-colored coins do not contain any gold, though, being made of copper along with zinc, manganese and nickel, according to the U.S. Mint<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u200bEric<\/a>, the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, is one of his father\u2019s most vociferous defenders and supporters<\/a>. He regularly uploads posts praising his father on X, while also hitting out at those who criticize the commander-in-chief.<\/p>\n

\u200bWhen MapQuest posted that it would not be renaming Lake Ontario to Lake America<\/a> – after Trump signed an executive order<\/a> to that effect – Eric<\/a> took a swipe at the firm.<\/p>\n

\u200b\u201cShocking to see you\u2019re still alive\u2026I thought the iPhone 3 took you out 15 years ago,\u201d he wrote on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u200bThe Trump scion went viral late last year when his father was heard describing him<\/a> as a \u201cgood boy\u201d while organizing a meeting between his son and Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u200bSpeaking on CNN\u2019s The Source<\/a>, Eric said that his father had not called him about the meeting. He said: \u201cBut I\u2019m glad he acknowledges that I\u2019m a good boy.
