SPRING, Tex. – The FBI on Monday raided a home in Spring, Texas connected to the suspect accused of throwing a Molotov cocktail at OpenAI CEO Sam Altman\u2019s house<\/a> in San Francisco.\u00a0<\/p>\n Video of the scene showed a large law enforcement presence in a residential neighborhood on Monday.\u00a0<\/p>\n According to FOX News,<\/a> the home is connected to 20-year-old Daniel Alejandro Moreno-Gama.<\/p>\n Arson attack at Sam Altman’s San Francisco home <\/p>\n The backstory:<\/p>\n San Francisco police began investigating an arson attack<\/a> involving a Molotov cocktail at Altman’s home on Friday morning.<\/p>\n San Francisco police and firefighters were called to the residence between Jones and Leavenworth streets just before 4 a.m. Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n Investigators say the fire occurred at an exterior gate and had been extinguishged by bystanders by the time officers arrived. Police recovered evidence of an incendiary device at the scene.<\/p>\n It remains unclear if Altman was home at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported.<\/p>\n “We deeply appreciate how quickly SFPD responded and the support from the city in helping keep our employees safe,” OpenAI said in a statement.<\/p>\n Following the incident at Altman\u2019s home, police say Moreno-Gama fled the scene on foot.<\/p>\n Dig deeper:<\/p>\n After the suspect allegedly threw the Molotov cocktail at the home and fled, officers responded a short while later to a business on the 1400 block of 3rd Street, the site of OpenAI\u2019s Mission Bay headquarters, following reports of a suspect threatening to burn the building down.\u00a0<\/p>\n Police identified Moreno-Gama as the same individual involved in the earlier arson attempt and took him into custody.<\/p>\n United States Attorney Craig H.
