The internet\u2019s fascination with Barron Trump<\/a> keeps growing and his sister-in-law, Lara Trump<\/a>, believes she understands why.<\/p>\n

On her podcast, \u201cThe Right View,\u201d Lara said the attention itself is the reason the youngest son of President Donald Trump<\/a> stays out of the spotlight. Reading a fan question \u2014 \u201cWhat\u2019s Barron Trump like and does he know the entire internet is obsessed with him?\u201d \u2014 she offered a rare look at the private first son.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know if he knows the internet is obsessed with him. I think he knows there\u2019s a lot of interest, but that\u2019s why he likes to lay low,\u201d she said. \u201cThat\u2019s why he plays it cool, that\u2019s why you don\u2019t see him all the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lara added<\/a> that Barron\u2019s low profile fuels curiosity.<\/p>\n

\u201cI say this all the time \u2014 I feel like he\u2019s a sleeper, like you want to hear more about Barron because you see less of him and I think that\u2019s kind of cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also said he is well aware of what is happening around him.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe knows what\u2019s going on out there. He\u2019s up on all of it\u2026 he gets it. He gets what\u2019s going on out there\u2026 he\u2019s funny. He turned out to be a really great kid. Barron\u2019s cool. Don\u2019t sleep on Barron, he\u2019s the best,\u201d she said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lara hinted at his future as well, saying \u201che\u2019s excited to finish up college and get out and work,\u201d with about two years left before graduation.<\/p>\n

White House dinners and a growing family bond<\/p>\n

Lara said the family meets for Sunday night dinners at the White House<\/a>, one of the few times they regularly see Barron. These gatherings offer a rare glimpse into a life that remains largely private. She also described President Trump as a hands-on father who has influenced all five of his children. He shares Donald Jr., 48, Ivanka, 44 and Eric, 42, with his late ex-wife Ivana Trump. He also has Tiffany, 32, with Marla Maples. Barron is the youngest child of First Lady Melania Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What did Melania say<\/p>\n

Melania has also spoken about him in recent interviews. On Fox Business, she said<\/a>, \u201cHe\u2019s an incredible young man. We are very proud of him. Second year in Stern School of Business and he loves it.\u201d<\/p>\n

She compared his time in the White House now to his earlier years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis time it\u2019s very different because he\u2019s 19 years old and the first time he was 10 years old. He understands politics. He gives advice to his father. We talk about it, so very different.\u201d<\/p>\n

Melania has long been protective of her son. According to a source cited by People magazine, \u201cMelania watches Barron constantly in an effort to be sure nobody messes with him or bullies him, as this is a constant worry with her. She always knows where he is and what he\u2019s doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barron\u2019s low profile continues to drive public interest. Some admire his quiet and focused approach, while others remain critical of his reserved nature.<\/p>\n
