Marc D. Haas, 55, of Staunton, IL, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.\u00a0 He was born December 12, 1969 in Fontana, CA, the son of the late Wayne C. & Kay Rene (Lusk) Haas Sr.\u00a0 He married Silvia Alvarez on November 27, 1999 in Moreno Valley, CA & she survives.<\/p>\n
Marc was employed as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with Reinhold Electric in St. Louis, MO for many years.\u00a0 He was also a member of Net Community Church of Staunton, IL & a member of Union Local #57 in St. Louis, MO.\u00a0 He loved to golf, fish, work on cars, spend time with his family, & watch Christian play ANYTHING!<\/p>\n
He is survived by his wife –\u00a0 Silvia Haas of Staunton, IL;\u00a0 three children –\u00a0 Eduardo (fiance’ Katelyn) Haas of Staunton, IL,\u00a0 Cynthia (Tyler) Laub of Granite City, IL,\u00a0 &\u00a0 Christian Haas of Staunton, IL;\u00a0 his first grandchild is on the way – a girl, Miah Kamille;\u00a0 seven siblings –\u00a0 Shelley,\u00a0 Wayne “Chuck”,\u00a0 Leslie,\u00a0 Heather,\u00a0 Clinton,\u00a0 Elizabeth,\u00a0 &\u00a0 Jodie;\u00a0 his “garage assistant” –\u00a0 dog “Paco”;\u00a0 & several nieces & nephews also survive.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL.\u00a0 Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL, with Pastors Derrick Taylor & Adam Anglin officiating.\u00a0 Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL.<\/p>\n
